Notification of Pregnancy
The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) recognizes
that timely identification of risk factors improves birth outcomes.
The Notification of Pregnancy (NOP) form has been developed to
pinpoint risk factors in the earliest stages of pregnancy for women
enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise and women participating in the
Presumptive Eligibility program. A recognized provider is eligible
for a $60 reimbursement for one NOP per pregnancy completed and
successfully submitted using Web interChange. The submitted
information is used by the woman's managed care organization (MCO)
to determine the risk level associated with the pregnancy and
establish areas of follow-up care. More information is available at
