monthly summary report of ltc facilities reviewed
Each month, the LTC staff members conduct on-site audits of
Medicaid-certified long-term care (LTC) facilities, providing
oversight for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) and
the Division of Aging (DA). The audits help providers achieve
compliance in documentation toward the case mix audit and with
Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) requirements,
as well as help ensure the health and safety of Indiana Health
Coverage Programs (IHCP) members. Each IHCP member audited is also
evaluated for Level of Care.
The HP LTC Unit compiles a monthly report of statistics and
trends found during the LTC audits conducted each month. To further
