Income limits now calculating correctly for presumptive eligibility applications

The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) previously identified that the federal poverty level (FPL) income limit calculation for determining presumptive eligibility was computing incorrectly. As a result, some applicants were either denied eligibility altogether or were approved only for limited coverage under the Family Planning Eligibility Program in error. As an interim solution, providers were advised to submit requests for a follow-up review of any presumptive eligibility determination they believed may have been in error.

This issue has been resolved. Presumptive eligibility income limit calculations are now computing correctly. Please contact with any questions or concerns.
