Notification of Pregnancy (NOP)
The Notification of Pregnancy (NOP) form is used to pinpoint
risk factors in the earliest stages of pregnancy for women enrolled
in Hoosier Healthwise and women participating in the Presumptive
Eligibility program. The woman's managed care organization (MCO)
uses the information to determine the risk level associated with
the pregnancy and establish areas of additional follow-up care.
Recognized providers are eligible for reimbursement of $60 for
one NOP per pregnancy successfully submitted using Web interChange. Use the NOP form to
gather information during the appointment, then submit the
information electronically, using Web interChange, within five calendar
days. After the successful submission of the NOP, file a claim
using HCPCS code 99354 TH with the appropriate MCO for the $60
payment.
